Das PCMB-6680 wird onboard mit einem AMD LX 700/ LX800 oder LX900 Prozessor mit 400/500 oder 600 MHz bestückt. Über eine Sockel werden DDR 333/400MHz SO-DIMM Module bis 1GB unterstützt. Es verfügt über ein 18-Bit-Single-Channel LVDS-Interface zur Ansteuerung von TFT-Displays, einen TTL-Anschluß und einen VGA-Analog-Ausgang. Simultanbetrieb von LVDS+VGA oder TTL+VGA ist möglich. An Schnittstellen sind weiterhin vorhanden: 1 x 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet, 1 x Mini-IDE, 1x CF-card Sockel, 4 x USB, 1x LPT, 2 x COM, 1x Keyboard/mouse, 2-Kanal-Audio-out und Mic-In, IrDA und der PC/104-Steckverbinder.
